Finally, some decent pictures of my soaps!
A huge thank you and a hug to my son, Jordan, for a Saturday afternoon of picture taking. I couldn't have accomplished it without his help. Nothing fancy, but so much better than pictures from my iphone !! Now I just need to find more time to soap and add more photos. The goal is to eventually sell online, but I'm taking baby steps. For full photos, please join me on Facebook at www.facebook/saylorwhitten or check out my webpage (under construction, excuse the sawdust) at www.spoonbridgesoaps.com ! ~Suzy

Those look so incredibly fabulous! I'm in love with the third from the top in the little side area. SO colorful! If you do begin to sell online, I'm sure you'll have plenty of customers. It seems to me that most of the sale has to do with looks and marketing. Thanks for sharing your lovelies! xoxo Katie
Beautiful soaps, Suzy! Love that pencil line in the main photo. And best of luck to you starting your business!
What gorgeous soaps! I really love how different and creative each one is!
Wow - those look great!
Thanks, Miss Katie !! Funny story: I had fragrance oil measured out to use in that batch and forgot it *doh*. If I wouldn't have, I would never have had the time to swirl because it super accelerated. Sometimes I do get lucky. I only found out because I made a second batch right after the first and used that forgotten fragrance oil. Ouch :-( I had to shovel and tamp - no time for anything fun. I'm pretty hit or miss still and am not sure I could replicate that swirl, but I was happy with it. That was my first time trying goat's milk and I'll use it again for sure. :-D
Thanks, Jenny ! I made it from cinnamon and hope it's not an irritant (in such a small amount, from what I've read it shouldn't be). Thanks for the well wishes. I think I have my "go to recipe" using Minnesota beeswax and honey provided straight from the beekeeper, so now I just need to get a bit of stock. I only hope to get a few dollars to put back into supplies - that would make me a happy girl (and my hubby will be glad to get his entire allotted closet space back if I can sell some!).
Thank you so much, Anne-Marie !! I've been a bit all over the board, trying this and that, but am starting to figure out what I really enjoy making and am also concentrating more on a soap that has the qualities I like. I was never great at science, but I love it in soaping!
Great photos Suzy!! Your soaps are so colorful and fun :)
Wow, so beautiful!
